The 2023 TVET Leadership Programme on Digital Transformation, hosted by the UNESCO Chair on Digitalization in TVET at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, China, was successfully held from November 13 to 18, 2023. This programme was designed to empower TVET leaders around the globe with the necessary insights and strategies for driving digital transformation within their institutions. The event saw participation from 23 TVET leaders and professionals from 17 countries, representing a diverse array of organizations including the UNESCO Regional Office, national education authorities, TVET and higher education institutions, research institutes, and NGOs.
During the programme, in the training modules titled “OER in UNESCO, UNEVOC, and Other Platforms” and “Open Education Resource Development - A Case at SZPU,” the 21st Teach Skills (21TS) platform was prominently showcased and introduced. This presentation highlighted the platform's role and significance in the realm of Open Educational Resources, further underlining its contribution to global educational initiatives.
